Learn from past and present–day examples of our nation’s leaders on this extraordinary leadership class trip to Washington, D.C., and New York City. High school students traveling in 2012 have the opportunity to earn up to three college credits on this WorldStrides program.

The Washington, D.C., and New York WorldStrides DiscoverNow! program is an interactive leadership development program that brings leadership concepts to life for high school students.

From special access to George Washington’s Mount Vernon and other historical sites, to interaction with dynamic leaders from a variety of fields, students will enjoy a unique experience not available through other educational travel programs.

Offering a strong leadership focus, this program is an extracurricular activity that will enhance a college application.

For groups traveling in 2012, this WorldStrides DiscoverNow! program offers high school students the unique opportunity to earn up to three college credits through the University of Virginia as part of our University Credit Series. College credit granted by the highly ranked University of Virginia is a unique distinction on college applications and essays, and one that only the University Credit Series can offer.
