Williamsburg, VA
History lives on as you travel beyond classroom walls to explore Colonial Virginia. Your itinerary will include a visit to Williamsburg – a 200-year-old fully functioning town restored to its original design. Experience colonial life through hands-on activities that give you the opportunity to grind spices with a colonial cook, make a shingle with a carpenter, and interact with people of the past. The journey into the past continues in Jamestown, where you will board re-creations of the three ships that carried the first settlers to Virginia and explore the Native American village that existed before European exploration began. In Yorktown, learn about life during the Revolutionary War and walk on the battlefield where the British surrendered to General Washington’s army.
