PAYMENT QUESTIONS

I am not registered yet, but I want to know what my monthly installments will be.
The installment schedule and amounts are computer-generated and cannot be determined until you are registered.

What are the payment options?
WorldStrides offers three payment options:

  • Option 1 - Pay the remaining balance in full by the first due date indicated on the confirmation invoice payment coupon
  • Option 2 - Spread the cost of the program into easy installments through an individualized payment plan structured by WorldStrides.
  • Option 3 - Sign up for the EZPay plan on www.worldstrides.org or by calling Customer Service at 1-800-468-5899. EZPay automatically deducts regular payments from your checking account, eliminating handling fees associated with program installments and the worry out of meeting payment deadlines

Is there an additional fee for the payment plan?

  • WorldStrides charges a $6 nonrefundable handling fee for each billing cycle following registration.

          Maximum of six handling fees

  • A $15 late installment charge is assessed for late or missed installment payments.

Maximum of six late installment charges

  • A $60 late payment fee is charged for late final payments.

I have had a check returned, can I send another check?
Unfortunately, when your bank returns one of your checks, we must require guaranteed funds for any further payments. We will accept a cashier's check, money order, or credit card. There is a charge of $35.00 for returned checks.

What will happen if I do not make the scheduled installment payment?
If the installment payment is not received by the due date, a $15 late installment charge is assessed.

How can I avoid the handling fee?
There are two ways to avoid the handling fee:

  • Pay in full by the first due date indicated on your confirmation invoice
  • Sign up for the EZPay plan

How long do credit cards take to process?
Credit card payments are processed instantly.

When is the final payment due?
The final payment due date is usually 75 days prior to your departure date for domestic travel and 105 days prior to departure date for international travel. I am not able to send my child's final payment by the deadline.

What will happen if it is not received on time?

  • If the payment is not received by the indicated due date, a $60 late payment fee will be assessed.
  • Your program space is not guaranteed if you do not adhere to the terms of the required payment plan.

I am going to donate money on a child's account. Can I receive a tax deduction?
Please seek the advice of a tax professional.
