Chicago HistoryQuest

In April 2010, WorldStrides invited educators from the Chicago area to spend a fun and educational weekend at the Omni Chicago Hotel.  On Friday night, teachers enjoyed an evening of fine dining and Monte Carlo themed entertainment before staying overnight in complimentary deluxe accommodations on the Magnificent Mile.  Saturday’s activities included a WorldStrides presentation and a dynamic visit from Martha Washington!  Everyone was riveted as Martha discussed her relationship with General Washington and the founding of our nation.  HistoryQuest was the perfect opportunity to unwind for the weekend, meet fellow teachers from the area, and learn about WorldStrides’ exciting travel opportunities!
