Educators from the Denver area enjoyed a complimentary weekend of excitement and education at the Grand Hyatt Denver on April 15-16, 2011.
On Friday night, educators enjoyed an evening of fine dining and casino entertainment at the luxury hotel. The evening atmosphere was enhanced with magnificent skyline and mountain views from the hotel’s 37th floor. On Saturday morning, WorldStrides provided a full breakfast before presenting program opportunities and benefits. Educators participated in a unique lesson plan, led by WorldStrides' Director of Education, met the official James Monroe interpreter from Ash Lawn-Highland, and received gifts from a raffle prize drawing. Everyone left with a new array of ideas to implement in their classroom and an extended network of contacts in the Denver area!
