WorldStrides Time to Travel
Contest Terms and Conditions

  1. Only students in grades K-12 are eligible to win prizes.
  2. Contests begin October 19, 2009, and conclude by December 15, 2009.
  3. Entrants may not win multiple prizes. WorldStrides reserves the right to select alternate winners in the case an entrant wins multiple drawings.
  4. Winners will be notified by email following the contest period.
  5. Prizes will be awarded 6-8 weeks after winners are chosen.
  6. Prizes are non-returnable and cannot be exchanged for other prizes.
  7. WorldStrides reserves the right to substitute prizes of an equal or greater value.
  8. Odds of winning vary depending upon number of entrants.
  9. Contestants ages 17 and younger must have parent’s permission to enter contest.
  10. Restrictions on receiving the prize(s) - Affidavit & Release. As a condition of being awarded any prize, winners may be required to execute and deliver to sponsor a signed affidavit of eligibility and acceptance of these Official Rules and release of liability.
  11. Contest is sponsored by WorldStrides, located at 590 Peter Jefferson Pkwy, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
  12. Contest entry implies total acceptance of the contest rules.
  13. Prizes won by minors will be awarded to their parents or legal guardians on their behalf.
  14. Employees of WorldStrides or any affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees' families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse, and life partners).
  15. Sponsor, all participating sponsors and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisors, employees and agencies will not be responsible for: (a) any late, lost, misrouted, garbled or distorted or damaged transmissions or entries; (b) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, internet, or other computer- or communications-related malfunctions or failures.
  16. Prizes returned as undeliverable or otherwise not claimed within fifteen (15) days after delivery of notification will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions or exchanges (including for cash) of any prizes will be permitted, except that the sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for any prize. Limit one prize per household or address. All prizes are awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).
  17. General Release. By entering the Contest(s), you release the sponsor, participating sponsors and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agencies (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the contest or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use any prize.
  18. Contest is void where prohibited.
